No Variances have been issued by IGRA for the 2023 North Star Regional Rodeo.

Entry fees are $30 per event/per day. Must enter a minimum of one event each day or two events in one day to compete.
There is a minimum  non-refundable deposit required of $60.

All IGRA rules and regulations will be adhered to for the North Star Regional Rodeo.

Late Registration & Late Fee Policy:

Late registrations will be accepted.  Late Fee Policy is in effect.
Contestants who register after the preregistration period has expired shall be assessed a late fee of $50.

A late fee of $50 shall be assessed to all preregistered contestants adding rough stock events after the preregistration period has expired.
This fee applies only to contestants who have been assigned a four (4) digit IGRA contestant number more than thirty (30) days prior to registration date.

Payout for the North Star Regional Rodeo shall follow IGRA guidelines.

´╗┐Veterinarian / Farrier

There will be no farrier service on the rodeo grounds. If you may need one, NSGRA has a Farrier on call for the weekend. The phone number will be posted by the horse stalls. Veterinarian information will be provided in your registration packet. A large animal vet will be onsite per IGRA Rodeo Rules.

Horse and Stall Fees

Each contestant pre-registred for horse events will receive one (1) stall at no charge.  Each additional horse stall will be $30.00.
North Star will make every effort to provide "late stalls" to contestants that notify North Star of their need for additional stalls in advance.  This notification can be made by email to  Because our horse stalls are portable and brought in from an offsite vendor, contestants that do not reserve an adequate number of horse stalls and/or do not notify North Star of the need for a "late stall" will not be gauranteed a stall on arrival.  If a "late stall" is able to be provided, a late fee of the actual cost of the stall will be assessed at the time of check in not to exceed $60 per stall.  
***  Tack Stalls will NOT be available.  ***
Horse stall check in will begin on Thursday, July 28nd at 5pm.  Please make sure to complete the paperwork that will be attached to each stall.   

Horse and Stall Information

The following information is preliminary and will be confirmed after our annual meeting in late September.
Dead Broke Arena is one of the finest outdoor arenas around with excellent footing for horse contestants.  It is adjacent to Woodloch Stables, we will have shelter stables for the your horses
We do have shaving on site for sale.
If you need hay, please let us know at, and we will set you up with hay through Woodloch Stables.
